I think that link is from Calatia for sure. Just the name of the region reminds me of him.--Claire 21:24, 28 December 2007 (EST)

That has to be the best argument I ever heard. -_- Seriously, Calatia is not even part of the series.IfIHaveTo 02:26, 29 December 2007 (EST)

To me it is an interesting argument that Link is from Calatia. He seems the outsider to Hyrule in the first two Nintendo games. There are some interesting mythological/hystorical homages to Ancient Roman civilization as Calatia was a city (turned into a Necropolis) near Pompeii, right under Mt. Vesuvius (Death Mountain parallel?) --ArcanaJester 20:13, 30 December 2007 (EST)

It seems reasonable. It actually makes for a better story that way. The official text in the LoZ says that Link was traveling when he met Impa. Traveling from where? I wonder... I'm not sure why most people think that the Zelda comics aren't canon. Nintendo has never mentioned anything official aboput them, and they DO have the "Nintendo Seal of Approval" on them. Perhaps it's because the cd-i games were based on this Link, and we all know how much people hate the cd-i games even though they haven't played them :).

lol did someone just post something about Zelda3C: Quest for Calatia? roflol that one is so old. Alter  {T C B H } 00:28, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

So am I the only one here who's noticed Catalia is signposted on the official Adventure of Link map? Metalmunki (talk)
