I had to think on this for a minute. The character is mentioned in Spirit Tracks. His letter is given to Link. Since he's mentioned, I don't see a reason to delete it. Mandi ^Talk 04:32, January 19, 2010 (UTC)

The letter is from Linebeck III's grandfather, and here's the quote that proves it: "Fantastic! Here's the letter Gramps left behind for your reference." — Linebeck III (Spirit Tracks)

I say keep this article; there is enough to prove his existence even if he doesn't appear in the games (i.e. name continuity, Linebeck III's existence, etc.)— cipriano^talk

Actually, Linebeck II is not mentioned in the story, only implied. The only ones mentioned in Spirit Tracks are Linebeck (the one who wrote the letter) and Linebeck III. Link's Mother on the other hand is explicitly referenced in Ocarina of Time, by the Deku Tree Sprout.— cipriano^talk 21:29, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
