Reference to Ruto

Rutela is *not* another reference to Princess Ruto of the Zora tribe as much as Laruto is. -The CronoLink

And the King Zora of OoT can be the late husband of Queen Rutela.

But if King Zora of Oot is her husband. That would make Ruto the sister of TP`s prince?

Do you even read what you write? Or at least *played the games*? TP is after OoT. Decades after. And if King Zora's wife is *already* dead in OoT, how can he be Rutela's late husband? Where the hell is Ruto for that matter then? That's like putting the wagon before the horse.

Here's what I Think. 1st, King Z. Marries Wife. Has Ruto. Wife Dies. Ruto leaves to be a sage. King Z. Remarries to Rutela. Has TP's prince. King Z. King Z. Dies Queen Rutela dies. TP happens. The end. Millionandfourswords 20:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Minus Ruto leaving to be a sage, sure, I could see that. (Since TP happens in the child timeline, in which Ruto never became a sage.)Ando (talk) 20:53, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Your right, but than, where would Ruto Be? What I think is that, The Adult Sages had to start the seal. But, Ganondorf having the triforc of power, You'd need it to constantly be recharged, (even though he constantly escapes, he'd do it much more othereise.) with the AOTS (Adult orcarina of Time Sages) in an alternate time line, the COTS (child etc.) needs to do the recharging. Just a guess. Millionandfourswords 02:56, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ruto apparently didn't become a Sage in this timeline... And I know this is very old, but Hyrule Historia indicates that Rutela's husband was going to appear at some point. They most certainly did not intend for it to be the King Zora of Ocarina of Time. I think people took that creator quote out of context. LinkTheLefty 14:56, 20 August 2012 (EDT)
The quote was not even from Aonuma, it was a comment about the reference by the interviewer. They never confirmed it meant anything. Fizzle (talk) 21:35, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Queen Rutela

Okay, so I have nothing with titles and know absolutely zilch about how they work, but if we use titles for Ruto (Princess), Ralis (Prince) and Zora(?) (King) in the title of the articles, shouldn't we call this Queen Rutela rather than Rutela?IfIHaveTo 05:00, 3 November 2007 (EDT)

Makes sense, I've moved the page to the new title. --Adam 13:53, 3 November 2007 (EDT)

Execution

How exactly Rutela was executed? ZeLink (talk) 20:06, 19 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It was never explained in the game. - Chuck * (Talk) 00:28, 20 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
