Template:Correct Title/Documentation

Purpose

This template, adapted from Wikipedia's Template:Correct title, is used on articles that cannot be named correctly due to MediaWiki limitations on special characters like # or [.

Usage

Place the following at the top of the article, on the line immediately preceding the infobox.

{{Correct Title|<correct title>|reason= }}

Examples

1	{{Correct Title|Swordsman Newsletter #1|reason= <code>#</code>}}	The correct title of this article is Swordsman Newsletter #1. The omission of the # is due to technical restrictions.
2	{{Correct Title|[Xenoblade Chronicles 2]|reason= square brackets}}	The correct title of this article is [Xenoblade Chronicles 2]. The omission of the square brackets is due to technical restrictions.
