Look at me, I have a User Page!

Time to place my opinions on the internet... Why the Hell is Zelda Wiki replacing genders with pronouns? We're a Wiki, it shouldn't work like that. Gender would be Male/Female/Unknown or Debatable. Just like every Wiki ever.

So, I just did some counting on the pronoun voting page and I counted 5 vs 5. A tie. Now, only like 10 people decided really, and on a community it seemed like an insignificant number, and really a change for the Wiki should have been decided by Wiki Team members and ONLY Wiki Team members. I then decided only to count how many Wiki Team members voted. 4, 2 vs 2, another tie. Of course this is including the guy who suggested it, if he didn't count it would be a "against" majority.

I guess voting only works by interpretation. Makes you think, don't it? Guess I better add personality to this page.

So, the past few days I've been contributing towards the whole pronouns controversy on the forum pages. Many people agree that the best options are to keep pronouns off many of the pages, except maybe Fi. For the past few days there has been total silence from staff, even though we have made many suggestions that satisfy everyone. And with my average Reddit influence, I could get most Redditors (primarily /r/zelda and /r/TumblrInAction) to cease their protests... And sometimes I think I'm crazy for talking to myself on a Wiki page...

About Me

I've been playing them simce I was 4. I actually finished one when I was 17. Also, if I was in a Lantern Corps I'd probably be a Blue Lantern. Or a Black Lantern. That's off topic but it's my page. Anyway, I prefer Majoras Mask over OoT, itbfeels a lot more alive and when I was a child the "similar but different" style of it really got to me. One of my favourites was the Oracle games, and how they connected. I wanna find more games like that. The only Zelda character I really think would actually NEED the pronouns are Tingle, because he identify's as a fairy. And even then it'd be for [CENSORED] and giggles. I own a Wii U and Hyrule Warriors but I never used them, because I never wanted a Wii U (it was a gift) I'm not even gonna use it to play Breath of the Wilds, because lets face it, the NX will be out before it even releases. And all I really want is a top-down Zelda game in 2D, not 3D! The last game like that was Minish Cap and that game was great!

Welp, my work here is done

A few weeks ago it was announced the Zelda Wiki would be returning to the old, a not-a-terrible-idea-that-somebody-forced gender rules for pages. Which means everything can be defined as Male/Female/Other again.

When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
