Short Bio
My name is Cody, but I use the alias Ver-go-a-go-go for every forum I'm a part of. I'm 15 years old, and have a huge addiction to all things Nintendo. I've also taken a liking to debate, and participate in several high school tournaments. I've also gotten pretty serious with swimming, now practicing an hour and half every day during the school week. I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma November 25, 1994, and currently live in a small town in the North-Western part of Louisiana.
Zelda Dungeon
ZD is my Zelda "home" you could say. It was my first step into the Zelda community, and I'm glad I chose first. I've been a member for quite a while, I first joined December 14 of 2008, and I hope I'll be able to stay active for quite some time. I was, to my surprise, promoted to Hylian Hero (a user group that no longer exists) on the last day of January 2009, which encouraged me to dive even deeper into the forums, and be the best member I could possibly be. When the Hylian Hero group was abolished about half way through the month of June 2009, I was very happy to be one of the few members to be promoted to Hylian Noble, a rank that is considered to be made of the very best of the forum members that aren't staff. I was yet again surprised to receive the promotion, and I'm very happy that I'm considered to be one of the top forum leaders.
I guess the higher-ups at ZD weren't finished with me though. I was soon promoted to the Arbiter rank, which is basically a shout box moderator. I'm very happy with the position, and would rather keep it than be moved up to the Moderator status. I'm the kind of guy that messes up if you give me too much power and responsibility. =P
Zelda Games
Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game, and it remains my favorite to this day. However, this is purely because of nostalgia. Nostalgia aside, Twilight Princess is my absolute favorite. Nostalgia not aside, my current top five list of favorite Zelda games looks like this: 1. OoT, 2. TP, 3. MM, 4. LA, 5. ALttP. The Wind Waker is my absolute least favorite Zelda game, and I still find it to be horribly overrated within the Zelda online community. I've played almost every game in the series, but I've yet to play Four Swords or Four Swords Adventures, and I really have no desire to play them.
Friends
I've met quite a few people since I first stepped into the Zelda online community, but I think a few users deserve recognition on this humble wiki page of mine:
Kitsu: Pretty much the guy that keeps me coming back to the forums. He's one of the first I met on the ZD forums, and he's still active to this day. He always "keeps it logical", which has lead to some rather interesting a humorous discussions in the ZD forums Shout Box. I always look forward to talking with him when I log on. He holds the rank Hylian Noble just like I do.
Axle the Beast: Axle joined the ZD forums roughly around the same time I did, and we were both promoted to Hylian Hero on the same day. He's a rather funny guy, which blends in perfectly with Kitsu's "serious" personality, and leads to even more memorable discussions in the ZD forums Shout Box. He stays active on the forums as well, and currently holds the Hylian Noble rank just like me and Kitsu.
Kazumi: Kazumi (formerly known as Hylian Princess) also joined fairly close to the date when I did. He's always hanging out in the ZD forums Shout Box, and he's always willing to take about whatever subject comes to mind. He's a rather sarcastic kind of guy, which yet again collides with Axle's funny personality and Kitsu's serious personality to create some of the best and funniest discussions I've ever been a part of. He was also recently promoted to the Hylian Knight status.
