O RLY

This is in response to the undoing of my change in http://zeldawiki.org/index.php?title=Relationship_of_Link_and_Zelda&oldid=80112

So I don't really mind if YOU wouldn't kiss the person who woke you up but for the sake of the argument This Zelda doesn't know this Link..so unless shes been watching him in her sleep and fallen in love with him then I don't see a love connection between two people who just met

In the least make it sound better like say - This link reminds her of her link or something like that...or that she fell in love with him at first sight.

but then that would be speculation....and I'll go back to what I said before that two people who don't know each other until one wakes the other, then meeting for the firs time , and kisses doesn't mean their in love...thats speculating.

I guess what is really bugging me is, just dont change it then say "I sure as heck wouldn't". It feels like I'm being punished for sounding stupid. --Remo 18:13, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I see what you're saying, and I sincerely apologize if what I said made you feel stupid; it wasn't my intention. However, I really see no reason to remove a sentence that's mostly speculation when really the entire article is built on just that: fan speculation. Nothing in the games ever explicitly states that Link and Zelda have ever really be romantically attracted to each other; heck, there's FAR more evidence for a Link and Midna relationship than Link and Zelda.
Also, is there any evidence that Zelda did NOT know Link before the events of Zelda II? I'm asking this seriously, since I thought that the LoZ Link and the Zelda II Link were one and the same; if this were the case, then Zelda would know Link from the events of LoZ. --Ando (T) 19:24, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I thought that the AoL manual said that the sleeping Zelda was put to sleep long ago. Assuming the Links to be the same then, logically, the Zeldas are not the same.--Emma 19:41, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

According to the The Adventure of Link article, you're right, Matt. Which begs the question: who the heck is the LoZ Zelda? --Ando (T) 19:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I guess the incident that put that Zelda in a deep sleep could have happened anytime prior to LoZ. Most likely sometime after ALttP. Oh, and your talk page is getting a little long. Have you considered archiving some of it.--Emma 20:01, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Question

How do you find so many articles to edit? Can you give me some tips? I see your name like, plastered on the recent pages and i keep asking myself, where does he find all these edits ?! So canyou share some err....."secrets" with me? (P.S. It might be time for an archive ;)) --Seablue254 19:29, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, one way is through the normal patrolling-of-the-recent-changes-page. I see someone's edit on some random page, and while checking it to make sure I don't need to undo it or something, I may notice that something else about the page needs an edit or two. So I do that. And sometimes I just get bored and hit "Random Page" until I find something lacking in quality that I can lend my skillz to. Or maybe sifting through the Articles Needing Attention category. Any of these ways, really. --Ando (T) 19:33, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
(P.S. Yeah, it does seem to be getting there, doesn't it?)

Hmm....thanks. I want to get to editing alot of pages, yet i seem to never find anything! Maybe this'll help! --Seablue254 20:20, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
P.S. Just looked at the Starly you traded me. Nice nickname. I like "NOTBIDOOF". Anyway, i can tradeyou other stuff, like a Jirachi, you know, stuff like that. Non-Hacked.Reply[reply]

Hey. Just wanted you to know, if you ever liked UB2R-B0T, i'm trying to get him on #zeldawiki. anyway, i'll trade you that Jirachi. Non-Hacked. If you're interested, just come in, yadda yadda yadda.....--Seablue254 00:39, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I do not know what an UB2R-B0T is. And also I has a Jirachi (I got the Colosseum Bonus Disc by a fluke; it's AWESOME). --Ando (T) 00:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In vein of the original question; I think it might be a common affliction of users. I mean the feeling of 'wanting to do something and not know what to do'. I recommend adding some specific categories to the 'To Do' list on the Castle Town page. For example, the sidequest page and category could be much more than it is. Changing it every month or so could keep it fresher and interesting.Axiomist 01:16, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
UB2R-B0T=Awesome bot. Just showed you. --Seablue254 01:19, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Guess what. UB2R is in #zeldawiki. Wanna come in and try him out? --Seablue254 20:11, 12 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This may sound dumb....but...is Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask worth playing? Come into the chatroom so we can have a discussion :) --Seablue254 21:57, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Article Voting Archive (reply)

Umm... I don't rememer voting for the Triforce article in the month of April. I am going to though (May 8th) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Emeryn (talk) 16:53, May 8 2008 (UTC)

Ah, but you did. --Ando (T) 23:20, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This is a perfect example of the need for the reminder templates I just made. See my talk page to see how I think it should be used. Either the user or some other responsible person can put them on the user's talk page. Spread the word!--Emma 03:55, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Archive Template

Would you like to use the archive template? It is mostly Adam's doing. I only put it in a useable form. It would most likely catch people's attention better than simple text. Of course, you don't have to use it. It is just that if you use it, it is far more likely to catch on. Same goes for the article and picture reminder templates. (which seem to have been thoroughly ignored thus-far) --Emma 04:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Mmm, hey, why not? It IS more noticeable, after all. :P --Ando 16:28, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Teaching

Guess what. Vista is so bad that it only has restore points up to March because it deleted the rest. DARN IT. So, it looks like I (luckily) have the restore dvd to reinstall the software. So I'm not just restoring it, I'm reinstalling it. W00t! --Seablue254 20:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yet another "step backward" for Microsoft. Typical.--Emma 20:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Tell me about it. If only Mac's weren't so expensive! --Seablue254 20:47, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Only up till March? Vista only has restore points up to two months back? What on earth...? Vista makes me sad. :( Good thing you can at least reinstall, though. --Ando 03:38, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I know. It's pretty official that, well....Vista sucks. The only good thing about it is how nice the theme and stuff is. Besides, my friend had upgraded his XP to Vista, downloaded malware accidentaly (the amount of Trojans and Tracking cookies he dosen't want me to tell) and now he had to wipe it clean, so goodbye Vista, and hello XP. And i'll say it again, Vista SUCKS! --Seablue254 19:27, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hey. just noticed I made a big mistake on some of the Zelda dungeon items. Sorry! --Seablue254 00:11, 18 May 2008 (UTC) Come into the Chatroom! We are rlyrly bored in there! Please come talk to us!Reply[reply]

Well, i think i'm going to try out ubuntu soon. Comfused? Come in and i'll tell you. --Seablue254 15:33, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Question. Are we still in for teaching? Oh. Yes. I need you to go into #zeldawiki and unban my address. I was dumb enough to come in as a Anon myself, ban it, and forget to unban me.? Uh oh. Bad time. Maybe in half an hour?--Seablue254 21:52, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Why of course. --Ando 21:54, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ok. Wow. It's Friday! anyway, since it's teaching day, i guess that i should start preparing! Oh, wait, i gotta go clean my pets cage. be in the chatroom in say, 20 minutes :) --Seablue254 17:22, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

...It's Friday? I... guess it is. Okay. Sure, yeah, whatever. I'll try to be there; if I'm not there it's because I'm finishing up lunch, so I'll be there once I'm done with that. ;) --Ando 17:24, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

..So, ready for another session? Uh oh. Bad time. Maybe in half an hour?--Seablue254 21:52, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

May we begin? --Seablue254 19:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Question. Do you know.....WHERE I CAN FIND A DANG SSBM ROM? IM DYING OVER HERE! --Seablue254 20:39, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

GameCube ISO's (the GameCube equivalent of a ROM) are nigh impossible to find; believe me, I've looked for The Wind Waker... So honestly, I have no idea where to find a Melee ISO. Sorry, dude. D: --Ando 20:42, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ok. But let me finish off with, GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--Seablue254 20:43, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I need to see you in irc.esper.net in #temp, i have questions tell me on my talkpage for help. P.S. i can help you over aim.--Seablue254 14:44, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
More like I don't know what the heck you're talking about? You need to see me where now? And I wasn't aware that I needed help. ??? --Ando 04:44, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hey, I'm just saying that you've still got work to do before you can call your wiki the ultimate source. XXXXX 19:23, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Then why not help out instead of just stating "whoa, this isn't that great WORK ON IT MORE"? What we need is help, not votes of negativity. :P --Ando 19:46, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
