"You'd think, if there's a dedicated link to Phantom Hourglass, Phantom Hourglass would redirect to the item page."

(For reference, here)

I think partly it's because when someone types Phantom Hourglass in the search bar, most of the time the person is looking for the game, instead of the item, maybe.

Also, in case it's helpful, [[Phantom Hourglass (Item)|]] -> Phantom Hourglass; ("Pipe Trick").

That makes sense. And thanks for the handy little shortcut. Phineas81707 (talk) 11:06, 3 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If an item shares the name with a title, you can just use {{it|item name}}, for example {{it|Phantom Hourglass}} or {{it|Ocarina of Time}}. - Chuck * (Talk) 15:56, 3 September 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Indeed, as I notice was promptly changed in the edit here. However, I personally prefer using the pipe trick I mentioned, because it is very intuitive, and can be used for anything with parentheses, e.g. [[Lion (Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love)|]]; That is, there are many benefits to being familiar with this compared to having simply learned about Template:it, and other templates of that sort (Are there any others?) - If you remember both, then it's just as good!
