#Entrance
The entrance to the labyrinth is located on a cliff on the far east side of Outset Island. It can only be accessed with the Deku Leaf or the Hookshot. To enter the labyrinth, Link must have obtained the Power Bracelets to remove the Stone Watcher covering the entrance. The labyrinth itself consists of fifty-one floors filled with various enemies. As Link progresses further down into the labyrinth, the enemies become more difficult and the rooms become more perilous.

Overview
Themes and Navigation
The Savage Labyrinth is a hidden cave that Link must enter to obtain a Triforce Chart. The chart is located on floor thirty-one. To move on past that floor, the Mirror Shield is required, although moving on is completely optional. Floors beyond thirty-one are far more difficult and were made to provide a challenge for the more skilled players.
The Savage Labyrinth is a hidden cave that Link must enter to obtain a Triforce Chart in TWW or a Triforce Shard in TWWHD, which are located on floor thirty-one. To move on past that floor, the Mirror Shield is required, although moving on is completely optional. The only recovery items are at every tenth floor. Also, enemies do not drop items of any kind. However, Hearts, Rupees, Arrows, Bombs, Magic Jars, and Spoils can be stolen from them with the Grappling Hook.

The only recovery items are at every tenth floor. Also foes do not drop items of any kind. However, hearts, rupees, arrows, bombs, and spoils can be stolen from opponents with the Grappling Hook. A Piece of Heart is the reward for completing the labyrinth.
In the Japanese version of -, the Treasure Chest at the end of the labyrinth contains a Yellow Rupee (10 Rupees). In the international version of -, it contains a Piece of Heart (relocated from a Treasure Chest under Link's House). In -, it contains the Hero's Charm (the Piece of Heart is relocated again, to the treasure found with Treasure Chart #46).

The Savage Labyrinth is made more difficult after completion. After obtaining the Piece of Heart, several more enemies are added to many floors. Most significantly, there are many more Darknuts than the first time. This makes floor fifty very difficult to beat.
Once Link has cleared the labyrinth, its difficulty increases, much like the Cave of Ordeals from TP. The labyrinth will then feature more enemies than before, making it more difficult.

Each section of ten floors have different interior designs and enemies to defeat that appear to be themed based on the various in-game dungeons, with the last floor for each theme being the recovery floor. The order of each dungeon theme matches the order the dungeons each expected to be beaten. The first ten floors appear to be based on Dragon Roost Cavern. The next section appears to be based on Forbidden Woods. The third section appears to be based on the Tower of the Gods. The fourth and last sections appear to be based on Earth Temple and Wind Temple, respectively.

Trivia
Trivia
The Savage Labyrinth plays a similar role as the Cave of Ordeals of Twilight Princess, only unlike its Twilight Princess counterpart, it is necessary to beat at least the first thirty floors of the labyrinth to advance in the game. It also resembles the Take 'Em All On Game from Spirit Tracks.
*Several Mothulas appear in the Earth Temple enemy floors, despite the fact that they do not appear in the TWW itself.
*In the Japanese version of -, the TWW under TWW contains a TWW instead of 100 TWW. For all other versions on Nintendo GameCube, this TWW was moved to the bottom of the TWW, which originally contained only 10 TWW.
