Template:Item The Weird Egg is an item in Ocarina of Time.[1] It is given to Link as a child by Malon when he talks to the ranch girl in the Market.[2] The next time the sun rises, a "Chicken" will hatch from the egg,[3] which must be shown to Talon who is sleeping near Hyrule Castle to immediately wake him up.

A similar egg, known as the Pocket Egg, is later given to adult Link by the Cucco Lady in Kakariko Village.
