Not to be confused with Beedle, the sea-faring merchant in The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass

Freedle is a whimsical, mandolin-playing character in Phantom Hourglass. He is found on Mercay Island and has three magic boxes which allow the player to trade treasures and ship parts with other players via Tag Mode. In addition to Tag mode, items placed in Freedle's boxes will be traded with your opponent in Battle Mode.

To use the boxes, approach one and choose to place an item inside. Treasure or Ship Parts may be swapped. The wiggling boxes denote a new item from successful trades. Items left in wiggling boxes won't be traded until removed and placed back.
