The Parasitic Tentacle is a tentacle of Barinade that attaches inside Jabu-Jabu's body in Ocarina of Time. In order to defeat the tentacle, Link must throw the boomerang at it multiple times until it falls. If Link approaches the enemy too quickly, it will swing around in an attempt to knock him back. On most occasions within Jabu-Jabu's Belly, a treasure chest will appear once the Parasitic Tentacle is defeated. According to the color of the Parasitic Tentacle, a passageway will open up in another area inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly.
