Mary was a horse in Breath of the Wild

Biography

Mary was a female horse who lived at Snowfield Stable with her mate Harry and Monkton when he was a child. Monkton was an adventurous child and, as there were no other children around for him to play with he befriended Mary and Harry and took them with him on his adventures. Unfortunately Monkton had little sense of danger and, as a result both of the horse met with an untimely end. One day, while investigating the ruins of Tanagar Canyon Mary Lost her footing and fell to her apparent death.

Harry and Mary’s descendants currently live in the stalls next to Snowfield Stable, where they are looked after by an elderly Monkton who is determined to take better care of them than he did with their ancestors.

Mary and her mate Harry are likely a reference to Mary and Harry, a husband and wife from Spirit Tracks.
