Nyave

Biography

A cowardly member of the "Maritime Defense Force," Nyave can be found sailing in a ship in the southwestern part of the World of the Ocean King. When Link enters the ship, Nyave can be found lying on the ground, pretending to be dead, as Miniblins and a Geozard run around. If Link defeats them and rescues Nyave, he will reward him with several Treasures he picked up. Nyave has a brother, Nyeve, who is a fan of Link. Nyave wants to be a cook like his older brother in order to get married.

Nyave is part of the game's trading sequence. By giving him the Guard Notebook he lost, Link will receive a Wood Heart.

Etymology

Nyave and his brother's names are plays on the words "Knave" and "Naive," respectively.
