Template:Place The Apothecary is a store in the Bazaar that is used to create Mixtures and Potions for the Warriors in Hyrule Warriors.

Features and Overview

The selection and quality of Potions and Mixtures is determined by how many Gold Skulltulas have been defeated, with new options being unlocked after more Illustration Pieces have been obtained.[1] The levels for the Apothecary are as follows:

Apothecary

Level 1 Default File:HW Red Potion.png
Red Potion
Restores five hearts.
Level 2 2 Illustration Pieces File:HW Purple Potion.png
Purple Potion
Restores five hearts and half of a Special Attack gauge.
Level 3 7 Illustration Pieces File:HW Blue Potion.png
Blue Potion
Restores 10 hearts and half of a Special Attack gauge.
Level 4 25 Illustration Pieces File:HW Green Potion.png
Green Potion
Restores 10 hearts and all of a Special Attack gauge.
Level 5 50 Illustration Pieces Yellow Potion Restores 15 hearts and 1.5 Special Attack gauges.

Potions from the Apothecary cannot be used if a Warrior has not crafted at least one Empty Bottle from the Badge Market. Mixtures are similar to Potions, albeit they must be prepared prior to battle and each Mixture only lasts for one battle. When consumed, Mixtures grant the Warriors a passive ability depending on the type of Mixture. Once a Mixture has been prepared and consumed, no other Mixture may be used among the Warriors, though the effect from Mixtures is universal.[2] After the effects from a Mixture have worn off, the Warriors may choose another Mixture for the subsequent battle. Although most Mixtures are unlocked via progression of the game, some Mixtures can only be obtained through downloadable content packs. These Mixtures are typically more costly to the Warriors, but provide long-lasting effects normally only temporarily seen during special occasions in battle, such as the ability to break through an enemy's shield without using Focus Spirit.
