Armored Carp are a type of creature from Breath of the Wild
Biography
Armoured carp are a type of fish found in body’s of freshwater throughout Hyrule. Large deposits of calcium within their scales cause their scales to be as hard as armour. Because of this cooking them into a dish will temporarily fortify the consumers bones, fortifying their defence.[1]
Like all fish within Breath of the Wild armored carp can be caught and by Link. Once caught they can be eaten raw to restore one Hearts worth of health, turned into Roast or Frozen Carp or used as a cooking ingredient. Provided combined with any other affect inducing ingredient, they will cause any dish they are added to to develop a tough effect.
