The Blastworm is an enemy featured in Spirit Tracks. Link first encounters this enemy in the Forest Temple, and they are used to solve a number of puzzles. When injured, the Blastworm will roll into a spiny ball which detonates on contact. Blastworms are naturally quite docile, though they will crawl towards Link if the player comes too close.
