A Boko Nut[1] is a large nut that grows in the Forbidden Woods.
Uses
The Boko Nut grows on a special stalk, from which the nut can be dislodged. Link can pick one up and carry it around the room. Eventually, the nut will decompose and fall apart. A new nut will then grow in place of the old one. These nuts are heavy and can be used as blunt weapons to defeat enemies and are required to open a few doors.[1] If a Boko Nut is out of reach, Link can use the Deku Leaf to blow it from its stalk.[2] Boko Nuts are somewhat similar in appearance to Deku Nuts.
Trivia
- It is possible for Link to grab a Boko Nut from the upper floors of the Forbidden Woods and drop down carefully with it to the lower floors to open a way to Kalle Demos without acquiring the Boomerang; however, once inside he will have no way of combating the boss.
