Cranioc unfortunately sport a weak underbelly with a X shaped scar like the [[Skulltula]]. [[Link]] can take advantage of this by using his [[Water Dragon's Scale]] to spin into the beast flipping it over and exposing its underbelly. Link now just has to spin straight into the X shaped scar on the underbelly, and the creature will be destroyed.

Cranioc unlike most enemies in the series, seem be much more social and more interactive with other Cranioc. They are said to have very strong rivalries between eachother. When two or more Cranioc spot their prey or Link they will fight amongst who should get to catch and eat their prey. To settle disputes most Cranioc shall simply claim the winner by which of the pack has the most magnificant crown but they will also simply get into a physical brawl.
Their heads bear large, bulbous crowns, which they use to attack prey and settle disputes between others of their species by tackling. If a Cranioc spots [[Link]], they will turn red and charge at the young hero. To defeat them, Link must spin into them, which will cause them to be stunned and flip over. After this, Link only needs to charge into them once more to kill them.

Craniocs are enemies that appear in Skyward Sword.

Characteristics and Weaknesses

Craniocs inhabit aquatic environments including Lake Floria, Lanayru Sand Sea and the Flooded Faron Woods. In his assault on Lake Floria, Ghirahim commanded the Craniocs to attack the Water Dragon Faron.[1] While she was distracted, Ghirahim had attacked and mortally wounded her.[2]

Their heads bear large, bulbous crowns, which they use to attack prey and settle disputes between others of their species by tackling. If a Cranioc spots Link, they will turn red and charge at the young hero. To defeat them, Link must spin into them, which will cause them to be stunned and flip over. After this, Link only needs to charge into them once more to kill them.

Etymology

Cranioc is derived from cranium, referring to their large heads.
