Darbus

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Darbus is the patriarch of the Goron tribe of Death Mountain. When he is first encountered by Link, he is in the form of a beast called Fyrus, also known as the "Twilit Igniter." He resumes his natural form when Link defeats him and releases him from the power of the Fused Shadow.

Later in the story, Link is able to use Darbus' strength to reveal the Hidden Village, a reclusive town that is home to Impaz, an elderly Sheikah, and is suggested that such a town is the long lost town of the Sheikahs. By passing through Darbus into the Hidden Village, Link is able to further his quest by obtaining not only Ilia's Charm, but also the Ancient Sky Book from Impaz, which will enable Link to reach the seventh dungeoun, the City in the Sky

Darbus himself is a huge, towering Goron who is very frightening in appearance, but he will not hesitate to help the "humans" in any way he can.
