Template:Character The Deku Butler is a character found in Majora's Mask; he is the loyal servant of the Deku King, who lives in the Deku Palace. He is typically very proper and polite, and he is able to keep his head much better than the Deku Royalty he serves.[1] He is prone to sentimentality when reminded of his son, however.[2][3] The Happy Mask Salesman inadvertently, but accurately, calls him "neat and tidy."[4]
Upon the request of the Deku King, the Deku Butler rewards Link for saving the Deku Princess by leading him through a labyrinth to the Mask of Scents.[5]
During the end credits, the Deku Butler is seen mourning at a small twisted tree. This is the same one that Tatl comments on at the beginning of the game.[6]
