The Forest Training Center[1] is an area within the Kokiri Forest in Ocarina of Time in which Link finds the Kokiri Sword as a child. It is located near the house of the Know-it-All Brothers and contains several rocks and grass that Link may use for sword training as well as getting used to Z-Targeting (or L-Targeting in Master Quest and Collector's Edition) while fighting enemies.

Within the Forest Training Center is a small hole known as the Hole of "Z"[2] which leads to a small maze houses an ever rolling boulder as well as a treasure chest containing the Kokiri Sword. If Link comes into contact with the boulder, he will take damage, therefore it should be avoided.

The only goal in the training center is to obtain the Kokiri Sword at the very beginning of the game in order to enter the game's first dungeon.
