Malmord is the boss of the Shrine of Destiny. She claims to have control over destiny yet still loses to Zelda. She attacks by melting into the shadows and moving around the room. She can only be attack during the brief moment that she is solid.
Later in the game, she is brought back by Gannon, as are the other bosses (except for Ursore). She is the only boss that is fought differently than in the original fight. In this fight she transforms into multiple flying insects, similar to Boons. They are the only enemies that will drop hearts during the final stage.
