Peater is a character in Skyward Sword. He runs the Bamboo Island mini-game and is the father of Peatrice.

Following the bird naming patterns of most Skyloftians, Peater seems to be a corruption of "Peter" with the reference to a "peacock"

His appearance and position as a swordsman is thought to be a lighthearted parody of the Star Wars kid of Youtube fame.
