Puzzle Key

Template:Item Boss Door Objects are items found in Dungeons in Skyward Sword.

Location and Uses

They are found in chests of all dungeons in Skyward Sword aside from Sky Keep and are used to unlock Boss Doors. They serve the same role as the Big Keys of previous titles.

Unlike their Boss Key predecessors, these objects offer a challenge in opening the door to the Dungeon Boss. The object must be rotated using the Wii Remote into an orientation that will allow it to fit into the shape of the key slot. Doing so is often a small puzzle, requiring multiple rotations to find the desired placement.
