The Shovel is a common tool found in construction sites and is the common tool of treasure hunters searching for Rupees and other valuables underneath the soil. Link used this tool many a time to collect Rupees for his own use, although he was able to help some people find treasure such as a Flute that had been lost by their owner. It was first seen in A Link to the Past.
