Overview

There are two methods to start "The Gerudo Canyon Crystal". The first is by activating the Travel Point in front of the Rakakudaj Shrine. The second is by interacting with the Shrine of Light's respective Mysterious Crystal. In either scenario, Link will hear a Mysterious Voice, telling him to bring the Crystal to the Rakakudaj Shrine in exchange for a Light of Blessing.[2][3] Upon hearing the voice, a beam connecting the Mysterious Crystal to the Shrine will appear, and the Shrine Quest will begin.

The Mysterious Crystal corresponding to the Rakakudaj Shrine can be found in between a couple of large rocks further south, near where Giro sets up camp after getting lost. When Link brings it to the Shrine, the Mysterious Voice will speak again, honoring its promise to give him a Light of Blessing.[4] The Crystal will then expand in size, revealing itself to be the Shrine's entrance.[5] Afterwards, "The Gerudo Canyon Crystal" will be completed.
