Introduction

I'm Late for a Very Important Date

It has come to my analysis that Termina is a mixture of the stories: Alis in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz. Some attributes from Alis in Wonderland are: Sakon from Ocarina of Time states "Huff huff! I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!" which is verbatim for what the White Rabbit says right before entering Wonderland. Majora's Mask happens instead of the future of Hyrule. Since Sakon says the famous words in the past and is nowhere to be found in the future, it may be possible that during the seven years, he left for Termina. In AiWL (Alis in Wonderland), the White Rabbit is in search for the Queen of Hearts, or in Sakon's case, the Emperor of Ikana Canyon, of Igos Du Ikana. In AiWL, the White Rabbit has a considerable amount of Size Candy, where as Sakon has a collection of Masks. In both stories, the Main Character uses both of which quite a lot. In AiWL, The Mad Hatter is a man in Wonderland made out of Alis's feelings for adults. So it might also be possible that the odd way The Happy Mask Salesman acts is Link's thoughts for Happy Mask Salesman. In fact, almost everyone's appearance in Termina is made out of Link's Memories. (That and Nintendo was too lazy to make new NPCs.) The Mad Hatter directs Alis in the right direction to try and get him home. Where as, the Happy Mask Salesman directs link to acquire The Mask of Majora. The Mad Hatter also helps Alis relax by trowing her a Unbirthday party. In Majora's Mask, the Happy Mask Salesman helps link by allowing him to clear his soul of the Deku Scrub's Soul. In AiWL, the Mad Hatter has a collection of Hats, so does the Happy Mask Salesman with Masks. They even both have their item in their names. The Queen of hearts in AiWL, she sends a lot of innocent Card-Guards to execution. As did Igos du Ikana by ordering Captain Keeta to turn his enemies into one of them through death and revival. In AiWL, the Queen of Hearts has a head assistant that does whatever she says and is the reason why she got to her high status. Along with how Igos would have never made his high status without his head Ikana Swordsmen. Along with the King business, The Deku King commands the Monkey to be executed for "kidnapping" The Deku Princess, like how the Queen of Hearts does the drastic choice of killing her men for planting white roses instead of red ones. Which may mean the two dictators of Termina is a memory of The Queen of Hearts. The way link falls into Termina is also a lot alike to the way Alis falls into Wonderland. Both stories also have the same Lesson which is be happy with what you have. In both of which, the entrances to the other world are found in a hole in a cave/stump in the wilderness. In WoO (Wizard of Oz), both of which took place by "calling" both main characters into the other world. Both of which revolutionized the gaming/movie industries. WoO involves the witch of the South, West, East, and North. Kind of like how Majora's Mask involves the Giant of Ikana, of Snowhead, of Woodfall, and of the Great Bay. The lesson of WoO's lesson is be happy with the friends you have. Identical to Majora's Mask's lesson and smiler to AiWL's lesson. All three take place in a parallel demolition. WoO takes somewhere over the rainbow. In the end of Majora's Mask, the giants are seen repelling the moon as a rainbow appears. One of the witches of WoO gets reduced to a pile of sludge. Similar to how the Bosses of Majora's Mask get reduced to a few mask. On a side note, in WoO, some of Dorthy's friends look for courage and wisdom. Which may be what two of the pieces of the Triforce from Ocarina of Time may have been based on.

Analysis

The Happy mask Salesman is TERMINIAN FOR the Mad Hatter. Sakon is TERMINIAN FOR the White Rabbit. Igos Du Ikana and the Deku King are TERMINIAN FOR the Queen of hearts. The entrances through other worlds are holes in the wilderness and domestic sites which are opened by a summonance. All three of the lessons are about being Happy with what you have. Termina is somewhere "Under" the rainbow. The Four Giants are TERMINIAN FOR the Four Witches.

Discussion

Oh my gosh! The day after I put this article up, the Bombers made an article about "Link in Wonderland". (So disgruntled.) -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 02:08, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
