Template:Place Washubi Swamp is a location in The Wand of Gamelon. It is unlocked after Sakado is completed.

Features and Overview

Washubi Swamp is a large swamp in the north-west area of Gamelon. Most of the region is flooded in deep, murky water, submerging at least half of the forest trees. Very little land is provided, requiring that Zelda use the tree branches above as platforms to progress further. The deep waters pose as a grave threat to Zelda, and mean instant death should she fall in it. The swamp is home to numerous Lowders and Arpagos, as well as Arkadais that swim back and forth in the water. Zelda can also use the Arkadais as platforms as well by riding on their backs.

The swamp is split into two very similar sections. The first section has a small hut at the end, which immediately leads into the next section. In this section, Arkadais now periodically submerge into the water, forcing Zelda to time her jumps more carefully. At the end of this portion is a large hut on an island, where the swamp hermit Grimbo lives. He requests that Zelda bring him back some Hanyu Spores. Once Zelda brings him the spores, he uses it to combine with Zelda's glove to craft the Power Glove. A Triforce Map appears in Grimbo's house, and upon completion of the stage, Hanyu Forest opens as a new stage.
