"Into the Vortex" is a Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
Amongst a set of ruins at the base of Rist Peninsula, Link can find a Stone Tablet and an Ancient Orb. The Tablet reads that only a hero with the Ancient Orb will be granted the trial on the Peninsula.[2] Once these words have been read, the Shrine Quest will begin.
To complete this Quest, Link must carry the Ancient Orb to the spiraled tip of Rist Peninsula. Along the way, he will encounter Water Octoroks, Moblins, Bokoblins, and Lizalfos. Once there, he must insert the Orb into a Pedestal with a Concave Slot, which will cause Ritaag Zumo Shrine to emerge from the ground. After this, the Shrine Quest will be completed.[3]
