The story starts when [[Tingle]] as an ordinary, middle-aged man who is offered a life in a paradise called [[Rupeeland]]. Tingle is guided by [[Uncle Rupee]], who tells him to gather a bunch of [[rupee]]s and toss them into a magic spring in order to gain access to Rupeeland.
