Upon meeting Link, Telma and the young hero become fast friends as they both work together to get Ilia and Prince Ralis to Kakariko Village safely. Later on in the game, Link can return to Telma's Bar, where a group of four adventurers sit at a table and try to figure out about the different things happening around Hyrule. The table also contains a map which labels where Link finds the dungeons housing the Mirror of Twilight shards. Telma is of crucial help to Link's quest: first by displaying great bravery in driving the caravan to Kakariko  in order to aid Prince Ralis, and later by giving Link an invoice to show the doctor, which will ultimately help Ilia recover her memory.
