== The Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon Canon/Ambiguously Canon?  ==
In Breath of the Wild there have been a few direct references to two of the three CD-i games, Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon.
Although this is just conjecture, these points of references show that these games may in fact be at least ambiguously canon in the Zelda universe, as they showcase important set pieces from both games such as the giant bird skeleton present in the desert in BotW, and the map screen in Wand of Gamelon which is also in the desert - and the Knight's Shield in BotW which looks identical to the one Link uses in FoE, and even uses Glutko from Faces of Evil as a base for Hinox's design.
