How are we defining bosses, here? Is it PC-level characters that you must fight (which could logically bring in the powered-up Dinolfos/Lizalfos, especially from Cia's story), or is it just anything that gets its own introductory cutscene? I'm personally voting for cutscene, since those are clearly based on the OoT-onward style of boss intro.KrytenKoro (talk) 13:19, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Also, while I know this renders pointless the template implementation I just did, should we cover the story chapters on pages for each scenario rather than gathering them based on the stage? For example, it should be almost impossible to write a cohesive article for Gerudo Desert as Ganondorf vs. as Link.KrytenKoro (talk) 17:24, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Semiserious question

Cuccos.

Several Adventure Mode levels include Cuccos who you must defeat, in the form of the Gold Cucco. They are generally stronger than boss enemies, have the ability to lead a side and capture keeps, and there is a special achievement for being defeated by a Cucco. Lana's Gate weapon, whose ability is to summon miniature versions of the Giant Bosses to perform attacks, summons a Cucco as its Special Attack.

Furthermore, recognizing their true role would be the glorious culmination of a tradition that started with ALttP, as Ganon's deadliest assassins. So, should we include the Gold Cucco as a boss?KrytenKoro (talk) 18:06, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Also, what the heck are you supposed to do with Master Quest's Silver Cucco? The thing always just flees before I can kill it, and the mission log says I managed to fail the mission.KrytenKoro (talk) 22:27, 11 November 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've never encountered any Cuccos in Adventure Mode where they are required to be defeated. Most of the time I ignore them and still manage to clear the mission. I'm not sure if they're bosses so much as just stronger enemies. Also there is nothing in the actual games that suggest angry Cuccos are part of Ganon's or any evil force. -The Goron Moron (talk) 00:24, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, that last bit about Ganon was more in semiserious jest, but as far as the Cuccos go, in Adventure Mode you are definitely given missions to defeat them. One of the northern missions is even called "Festival of Cuccos", and my point was more about them being summoned by a weapon that the guide specifically describes as "summoning bosses", and having comparable offensive and defensive power.KrytenKoro (talk) 03:15, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
