Flag Requirement?

Is it required to meet Impa to even be able to Recall the 18 Memories? I ask because I'm considering my first run to prioritize getting all the Memories, starting with the Master Sword and including the Champion memories, before meeting up with Impa and starting on the Divine Beast dungeons themselves.

Yes, you have to talk to Impa and start the quest before you can collect any memories. Hylian pi (talk) 22:52, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
So, what would happen if I got the Master Sword first?

You can do the Divine Beasts and get the Master Sword before speaking to Impa and get all of those related Memories, but you have to speak to Impa to get any of the other Memories. TriforceTony (talk) 14:11, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Does the LANS Memories mechanic belong on this page?

Should the Memories mechanic from the Switch remake of Link's Awakening even BE on this article? The mechanics are entirely unrelated, being entirely in-name-only. Memories in LANS are just a way to recall quest objectives, similar to BOTW's Adventure Log or the Bomber's Notebook in MM and (more prominently) MM3D. To call memories a "recurring mechanic" in the franchise is disingenuous at best, and I don't think the Memories from LANS should be included on this page. Either the two should be separated into their own pages, or the LANS memories should be relocated to a more suitable article. RiceWaffleFox (talk) 15:33, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
