Rented Hammer

Conflicted thought. Since there's a Rental Hammer page now, shouldn't there be info on the Rental Hammer from the A Link Between Worlds game? Both the normal hammer and the Nice Hammer are on this page which make them also a part of the regular hammer page. So shouldnt info of Ravio's Hammer from A link Between Worlds should move to this page? Making this page Canon with Non-Canon info? -- Wolfgerlion64 (talk) 22:31, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

As you just said, the Rented Hammer subject shares a page with the Hammer page. Although the two names are very similar, the names are not identical. The Hammer in ALBW is called the Rented Hammer. In HW, it is called the Rental Hammer. In this case, I believe the differences in names would warrant the Rental Hammer, the HW weapon, its own page. - Midoro (T C) 23:39, 31 October 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Considering the fact theyre supposed to be the exact same item, I think this should all just be moved to the Hammer page with the Rental Hammer re-directing too it, regardless of the difference in name, its the exact same item. We do not need two different pages for the same item simply based on its different appearances/names. Having it with its own page just feels like a waste of pages.

By that same logic, Rito Harp should share the same page as Harp. The problem with that is that the Hammer page already covers two separate Hammer items in the HW series - Darunia's Hammer weapon, and the Hammer item from HWL. To add the Rental Hammer there on top of those would just make it more confusing and convoluted. Besides, Ravio does not purely use the mallet, he also uses other items as part of his moveset. - Midoro (T C) 22:17, 10 November 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The Rito Harp is a harp that is exclusive to her character, its a unique item thats been passed down through generations of her family back when her species swam in the water. The Rental Hammer is just the Hammer Item in weaponized form. Thats Ravios entire gimmick; he fights using items in ways other characters don't. Comparing the Rito Harp to the Rental Hammer is like comparing Link from OoT To the Booger Kid from TWW who follows you around on Outset Island. Theres really no comparison to make aside from that theyre both male.
