Why has the Snapper been tagged for Spirit Tracks? I don't recall its appearance. Can we get pics or confirmation on it? OCto 13:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think people copied the list of enemies from the Prima Guide. Axiomist (talk) 17:35, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The whip mini-boss is also called Snapper.KrytenKoro 22:28, 25 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Split

It appears that that whoever merged the two pages is not aware of the fact that the two Snappers are two different Snappers. According to the Shogakukan Guidebook for ST, that Snapper is called "ムチルダ", which can somehow be transliterated as "Mutilda", while the Snapper in MM is called "スナッパー" ingame, which is a direct transliteration of the English name. --Mysterii bousuguru (talk) 01:38, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Agreed, would make sense to split it considering how different they are... Dany36 (talk) 03:09, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would favor a split also.
For what it's worth, no one's saying that they are the same enemy. To some, that fact that they are different is irrelevant because they have the same name. I don't agree with that, but that's what it is. HylianKing (talk) 02:45, 23 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think there should be a split between the two Snappers. Zelda Encyclopedia even separates them by calling the Majora's Mask Snappers "Snapper (Mount)"

I tend to agree. The simple fact that these two enemies share a name doesn't strike me as valid reason to conflate them when they're otherwise entirely different in every way -- especially considering that their sharing a name at all is apparently only a translation artifact.
