About that last sentence- does the music from the title screen of aLttP play in the Chamber of Sages? As I recall, the music playing here was a looping version of the Legend of Hyrule song that plays when the Deku Tree explains cosmology to you. If we're claiming that this song is the same as (or even derived from) the title screen music of aLttP, either this statement is gravely mistaken, or I'm just not musically savvy enough to recognize the theme, distinctive as it is. I left the offending sentence there, in case I'm mistaken. If someone could enlighten me here, I would be very grateful. Plazmataz 22:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A little late, perhaps, but I have the soundtrack, and the track entitled "Chamber of the Sages" is indeed a looping version of the Legend of Hyrule song. The title screen of A Link to the Past reappears in The Wind Waker, called 'Hero of the Winds', when the King of Red Lions talks to Link after he assembles the Triforce of Courage. Theories

Since the Tower of the Gods is not located in the Sacred Realm I don't see how it could be the Temple of Light. Zeldafan1982 20:32, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

True. I only added it because I've heard the theory floating around for some time. It's worth noting, though, that the tower wasn't anywhere in Hyrule in Ocarina of Time, and when the pearls are placed, a Triforce symbol briefly appears, before condensing in the center. It's not likely, but perhaps this was actually the opening of a portal, through which the Temple of Light, called the Tower of the Gods in-game, emerged. Setras 21:40, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The cut-scene as you said just shows it emerging from the sea. If it was transported through a portal then it would appear on the surface, rather than emerging. It's possible that it was created by the gods after the Great Flood. Basically, I don't think we should include theories if we agree that they are implausible. The wiki should contain theories of course but it would be nice if we include the good ones. Zeldafan1982 23:37, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, it wouldn't necessarily have to appear on the surface. And there is a theory on the Temple of Time page that the section shown in TP (which is also theorized to be the Temple of Light) and the Tower might be the same. But yeah, it is the weakest candidate out of all of them, so I'll take it out. Thanks for the feedback! Setras 23:54, 27 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Move or split?

Given that the Chamber of Sages is an actual area you visit in the game while the Temple of Light is not and little is known about it besides a passing mention in dialogue, should this page not be named the Chamber of Sages? And yes, I'm aware that it is inside the Temple of Light, but given that we've never even SEEN the Temple of Light...

As for the Temple of Light itself, I assume that could have it's own page, or it could have a brief mention on this page. Frankly, we know absolutely nothing about it given that it literally has about one line of dialogue referencing it, so I'm not sure why it gets headline billing, as such.

Incidentally, we have no idea where the Chamber of Sages in ALBW is, or whether it is even the same one (or if it's even called that), so it seems silly to have information on that game on a page about the Temple of Light. User:Fizzle8094/sig 19:47, 11 December 2013 (UTC)

Isn't the Chamber just the name of the room, and the Temple is the building as a whole? I mean, as in the Chamber being the only room within the Temple.
On the other hand, don't we see the Temple in ALBW, when we see the Triforce's resting place in the Sacred Realm?KrytenKoro (talk) 21:39, 11 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Where the Triforce is resting in ALBW is the Sacred Realm, but does not seem to be the Temple of Light specifically.
I think my main issue is that the Chamber of Sages is an actual, physical location that Link visits, while the Temple of Light is mentioned a few times in text and never seen. We know virtually NOTHING about the rest of the temple. User:Fizzle8094/sig 23:20, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
I guess it might just be fanon, but I was assuming that the Pyramid of Power was the corrupted Temple of Light, with that one room where Sasharahla can talk to you through the Triforce icon being the remnants of the Chamber of Sages; and the Triforce shrine in ALBW being on top of the Temple, or something. That's...really one of the things that the Historia would have spent better time on, clarifying the nature of the various realms rather than whose daddy Volvagia is.KrytenKoro (talk) 23:48, 23 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
