Delete

Seriously... tree... such a random item. Sure articles for notable trees, okay. But I don't think this... it will lead to grass, air, sky, hill and encourage pointless articles. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 07:04, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, trees are actually interactable objects, so I don't really know what to say. Then again, if we don't have an article for grass, then... --Never mind, we do! So yeah, if it were any other game, I wouldn't see the point of this article either, but some trees in Zelda contain items, and others can be cut down, so I guess I would say trees deserve their own article just as much as signs do. It won't be deleted, I asked about this on an article for a light beam and some other really mundane 'objects'. Adam or Ando, maybe both told me it was here to stay, so we might as well make it something worth reading, right?Axiomist (talk) 03:44, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, looks luike this never reached a conclusion. It needs to be either suggested for merge with Zelda Definitions, or un-flagged for deletion. If nobody else has any views on this, I'll do the latter shortly. —Adam ^{[ talk ]} 12:35, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

I think the actual material should be in the definitions. However, I think perhaps it should just be a disambiguation page. Linking to either the Maku Tree or the Deku Tree. Then another link that will send the user to the definitions page. Mases 16:26, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Looks like this never went anywhere. I'll cast a vote that it be merged into the Definitions along with grass, light beams, and any other mundane thing we run across. Axiomist (talk) 04:05, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

An interesting case here, because, even though the subject matter is "mundane," there is still a decently large collection of information here. A bit more and I think the article can stand on it's own. Maybe the "mundane" part can be put into Zelda Definitions, but the other stuff can probably stay. In fact, I'm going to add that bees can come out of trees and attack Link in LttP. --Ionizer 11:37, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
