Title Corrupt Sheikah Spirit
Game(s) Ocarina of Time
Dungeon(s) Gerudo Desert
Weakness(es) Mask of Truth, Lens of Truth, Ice Arrows

Tuskanred was once an ancient Sheikah spirit, that served as the Eye of the Desert. He resided within the sand itself. And helped guide those through the desert who were pure of heart. It is said that there is a direct connection between he, and the Lens of Truth, and that he guided the creators of the Lens in the production of it so that other Sheikah may travel through the desert. Very few know this, but the Mask of Truth was created for a secret purpose - that when worn whilst using the Lens of Truth, one is able to see Tuskanred. He has guided many travelers over the years, but recent events have stunted that blessing. After Link defeated Twinrova, their spirits ascended, but did not leave Hyrule. As spirits, they were able to reach the Spirit of Tuskanred. They used the same, brainwashing magic that they used on Nabooru, on Tuskanred. Now, normal travelers in the Gerudo Desert are always led in the wrong direction, and end up lost, forever..

To Defeat Tuskanred, Link has to adorn the Mask of Truth and simultaneously use the Lens of Truth to see Tuskanred. He moves ferociously, gusting up a whirlwind of sand beneath him as he hovers around the Desert. Link must use the ice arrows attained in the Gerudo Training Ground to defeat Tuskanred. Once he is truck several times from ice arrows, his sandstorm dissipates, and he falls to the ground, but as Link nears him, he charges him. He won't stay on the ground for long, so Link must strike him with his Master Sword as much as possible until he regains his sandstorm and takes to the air once again.

Once defeated, Tuskanred's curse is lifted, and he speaks to Link. He rewards him with the Arrow of Truth. It can be used for two purposes: 1) If you shoot the arrow at any object, the area around the object will act as the Lens of Truth, and reveal hidden objects and/or creatures - for a limited time. 2) If shot at an enemy, the enemy does not take damage, but all other enemies see the truth in the one you have shot, and see the rage in it, therefore they attack the enemy until it dies.
