Multiple edits

Hello! I noticed you've been making a lot of edits to the same page over a short time. Doing this clutters the Recent Changes and the page histories, and makes patrolling more difficult for the Zelda Wiki staff. So instead of saving a lot, use the "show preview" button next to the "save page" button. It'll allow you to view your edit for any mistakes so you don't have to make a lot of fixing edits or additional ones! :) - Midoro (T C) 16:55, 19 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Materials

Thank you very much for getting those images of Materials from Breath of the Wild onto the Material page. It's very nice work, so please keep it up! - TonyT S C 17:42, 19 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks! I'm brand new to editing wikis, so I'm still finding my feet. Mostly using other people's formatting as an example of how to do it right. Let me know if I start inadvertently causing trouble, or doing things incorrectly! Dekusian
You're doing fine, although we highly recommend than when adding images to a page, you upload all of them first and then add the images to the page in a single edit for the reasons stated in the topic above. - Chuck * (Talk) 19:03, 19 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi Chuck. I'll make sure to do that from now on. Thanks for the advice. Images have to be uploaded initially one at a time though, right? Dekusian
Yes, you must upload images one by one. Anyway, thanks again for your help with the images, we really appreciate it :) - Chuck * (Talk) 20:33, 19 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, a head's up: when you upload Material images, it's preferable that you crop down to the base sprite. We don't need the excess space just to show off the game's sparkling effect. - TonyT S C 11:48, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah, okay. No probs. Sorry! Blindly followed the format of the already uploaded BotW ones. Apologies for the multiple Hearty Radish edits! I hadn't realised you'd already sorted it before I cropped it properly myself. This is my first time trying out proper cropping, so treading new ground. How did you compress the image down to so much smaller kb than mine? - Dekusian (talk) 12:55, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No worries. I used PNGGauntlet for compression after I cropped it in Gimp. - TonyT S C 13:55, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Source

Hey, Dekusian. Do you perchance remember the source of this image you uploaded? - TonyT S C 10:55, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Tony. I cropped it from a screenshot from Nintendo's E3 Press Kit, as seen here - Dekusian (talk) 11:26, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright, thank you. - TonyT S C 11:47, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Email Correspondence

Hey there. I'd like to get in touch with you via email to discuss something, but it appears you don't have a verified email linked to your account. Would you fix that so I may shoot you a query? - TonyT S C 20:35, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Tony. I was getting an error message when I first tried this after creating my account initially. Had no trouble when I tried just now though. Email verified. Email away! - Dekusian (talk) 20:46, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hmm, I was hoping that problem would have been fixed. Either way, email sent! If you don't see it, you might have to check your spam filter. - TonyT S C 21:03, 27 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
