I'm placing this here because it's interesting

Hey there

Hey there, Sikora! Just dropping in to congratulate you on your contributions to the wiki so far, and to point out a few things that you should watch out for. When uploading files, please use lowercase file extensions (for example, .jpg as opposed to .JPG) as this is wiki policy. You can change the extension of the image you're about to upload (along with the rest of the name) by editing the "Destination filename" field of the upload form. Also, when uploading official artwork or any in-game image, make sure to tag it as a copyrighted image by selecting "All copyrighted images" from the "Licensing" dropdown on the upload form. Lastly, when replacing an image like you did for that Boko Baba render, please tag the old picture for deletion using Template:Imdel. To tag a replaced file for deletion, you would type {{Imdel|sup|Insert name of new file here}} on the old file's page.

Oh, and if you got an image yourself, like this one, you can just leave the "source" field blank. When it's blank everyone can assume that it came from you and not somewhere else.

I understand this might be a lot to absorb all at once, so if you have any questions about this or anything else about the wiki don't hesitate to ask me or any of the other active staff and we'll gladly answer your questions. Overall, though, you're doing just fine and we hope we'll be seeing more from you in the future. :) — Hylian King [*] 22:53, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for the pointers, I just have two questions. Are there any specific rules I have to stick to when editing things onto my page? And how do I reply to Discussions like this (How do I format this reply properly)? Sikora 10:47, 17 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Good questions. When it comes to user pages pretty much anything goes. You can add whatever you want to it as long as it's not vulgar or anything. And as for replying to messages, the idea is to indent it by leave a colon (:) right before your message like I did just now. For every additional message you would add one more. For, example, if I were to reply to this, it would look like:
This. Anyway, the help guide has more info on talk pages so be sure to check it out if you haven't already. — Hylian King [*] 11:44, 17 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
One more thing: I noticed you forget to italicize game titles sometimes. Please keep this in mind as it's part of our Quality Standards. Good job with the Hyrule Historia uploads, by the way! — Hylian King [*] 18:10, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Great, I'll keep that in mind from now on. :) Sikora 04:13, 21 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sorry about that. I was acting on the false assumption that doujinshi=porn. It also doesn't help that a couple of the comics they have feature large-breasted women on the cover. But there's nothing bad about the site, so sorry if I scared you. I reverted my reverts and life goes on.User:Justin ZW/sig 04:46, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Hahaha, that's all right. I don't see why you thought http://historyofhyrule.com/ was a porno site though, and what comics? I don't exactly understand. O_o —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sikora360 (talk) 05:38, 22 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
History of Hyrule has a bunch of dojins (which you can see if you scroll down their post). I've only ever seen porn dojins, and when I clicked it, it produced several questionable looking comics, but I when I came back and further investigated later, it turned out that it wasn't that bad.User:Justin ZW/sig 17:00, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
Ah okay, I understand then. :) Sikora 02:07, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
