The Voe Caravan Squad is a group in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Biography

The Voe Caravan Squad is a group of male Merchants that reside at the Kara Kara Bazaar. They have been visiting the Gerudo for years hoping to gain their trust and officially do business with them.[2][3] Originally, the Squad attempted to rescue the Gerudo from the Sand Shroud, but they ended up becoming lost themselves and had to be saved by Gerudo Soldiers.[4]

When Link first arrives at the Bazaar, the Voe Caravan Squad will be guarding the Western Entrance.[5] Their leader, Benja, hopes that by assisting with the Sand Shroud, they will be welcomed into Gerudo Town as heroes.[6][7] However, when the Gibdos attacked Kara Kara Bazaar during "Riju of Gerudo Town, they hid in the Kara Kara Bazaar Inn", which forces Ripp to fire them.[8] After the Sand Shroud ends, Benja plans to negotiate with Gerudo Town directly.[9]

  2. "[Voe Caravan Squad?] We're a group of merchants and friends who have long dreamed of doing business in Gerudo Town. Oh, and "voe" is the Gerudo word for "man." Voe's the word to know! If you don't understand at least one word in their language, the Gerudo will never accept you! And we should know! We've spent years trying to curry favor with them any way we could." — Benja (Tears of the Kingdom)
  3. "It took years and years of regular visits, but we've finally started to convince the Gerudo that they can depend on us." — Robsten (Tears of the Kingdom)
  4. "We were hoping to raise the Voe Caravan Squad's likability by gallantly rescuing the Gerudo ladies from the sand shroud... But the sand shroud doesn't just block our vision, it confuses our compasses too. We got lost in about five seconds. In the end, it was the Gerudo ladies who ended up gallantly rescuing us." — Benja (Tears of the Kingdom)

  6. "Still, maybe if we prove our muster as gate guards, Gerudo Town will make an exception and welcome us as heroes!" — Benja (Tears of the Kingdom)
  7. "[Caravan squad?] They're a group of Hylian merchants. It's not as though they can do business in this sand shroud, so they're helping out by guarding the entrance here. It's clear their plan is to gain access to Gerudo Town by getting into our good graces... But our law about voe is absolute. We couldn't let them in if we wanted to." — Ripp (Tears of the Kingdom)
  8. "I had to fire those voe from the caravan squad who were helping us guard the oasis. Those idiots... When the monsters attacked, they fled into the inn before even the civilians could. Not all voe are as brave as you, it seems." — Ripp (Tears of the Kingdom)
  9. "We were fired from guard duty for whatever reason... Which puts a damper on the Voe Caravan Squad's plans to become the first men officially accepted by the Gerudo. But we don't have it in us to give up now! Now that the sand shroud cleared up, I think we'll heard to Gerudo Town to negotiate with them directly!" — Benja (Tears of the Kingdom)
