Flurry Rushes are recurring abilities in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed]

Overview

Breath of the Wild

Link can perform a Flurry Rush in Breath of the Wild after he successfully performs a Perfect Dodge. This causes time to slow down, allowing Link to perform multiple hits in quick succession with his Weapon in a short period of time. If Link does not hit the enemy within a certain period of time after initiating the Flurry Rush, it will cancel, and the flow of time will normalize.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Flurry Rush returns in Tears of the Kingdom, retaining its characteristics from Breath of the Wild.

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Flurry Rush is an ability Warriors can use in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity to deal damage to the Weak Point Gauge exposed from powerful enemies and bosses.

Trivia

  • It is implied the ability to slow down time from Link's perspective while using the Flurry Rush and similar abilities is unique to him and comparable to the special powers of the other Champions.[2] Despite this, any character can use the Flurry Rush in Age of Calamity for gameplay purposes.
