Question About Main Page
The forums you link to don't work
My question is who do I contact to add My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess to the Spin-Off tab in the Main Page? It seems to be the only game missing. Thank you. Fatalframe4 (talk) 07:53, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
I clicked the links to the forums (because I REALLY want to share some useful tips of Breath of the Wild that a lot of people don't seem to realize) but there's no option to create a new thread. I am seeing threads there but the option to create new ones seems to have vanished since then. Is there something I'm missing?<br>Why did you have to shut down Zeldapedia? (You say "merged" but it wasn't a merge or anywhere close, just a shutdown of the superior Fandom site that has Discussion and forums and stuff that actually worked) At the very least couldn't you have started up some working forums or discussions up here? Why are you so determined that we cannot discuss Zelda games, or worse, ask for help with them? KillRoy231 (talk) 22:52, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
:I just added the game to the main page. Thanks for the heads up. 03:57, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
You're welcome. Glad to have helped. Fatalframe4 (talk) 06:34, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

Hyrule Warriors Spin-Off Category
:Wait, they do work, you just have to make ANOTHER account. (That's what, three now?) KillRoy231 (talk) 22:30, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
I would like to suggest a new "Hyrule Warriors" category to help better organize the Spin-Off tab now that the series has three games and it is beginning to look cluttered with the other stand alone series. Simply need to make a new category image for the series and move the three Hyrule Warrior games into their new places. ;) Hywelddraig (talk) 14:24, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
:Hey there, I implemented your idea onto the main page. Though this might be temporary only, depending on how the community find the new look of the Spin-Off tab. MannedTooth (talk) 18:50, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

I used to be a somewhat regular user of ZeldaWiki but stopped using for about a year or so. I recently came back on and sorted all of the stuff with the new ownership and having to sort out Gamepedia accounts and such, but I don't know if I missed a step or if something didn't go right but my Gamepedia user has not merged with my old ZeldaWiki user. Currently, my user is seperate from my old user (which is User:Super Smsher, pardon the typo), so I'm hoping that an admn can assist me by merging the users or something. If something like that is possible, it'd be great if my name was kept as Multusvalde rather than the old one. Thanks in advance! Multusvalde (talk) 10:00, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

:I'm not sure if we've updated any pages to talk about merging accounts but the admin of Zelda Wiki do not have the power to merge those accounts. To merge a Gamepedia account with a Zelda Wiki account, you have to submit a ticket with Gamepedia at their support site, requesting that they merge your accounts. Make sure to specify that you are talking about Zelda Wiki, what your current Gamepedia username is and what your old Zelda Wiki username was. Note that it could take some time for them to respond to the ticket. Once merged, any edits that were made by your Zelda Wiki account will credit your Gamepedia account. 10:27, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

Watchlist
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way to access your watchlist is by going to the special pages first. I think it would be nice if there was an option elsewhere. One option would be at the bottom-left, along with the contributions, or at the top-right. A newbie may not know that the watchlist is on the special pages and also one click instead of two is better. The forums you link to don't work

I clicked the links to the forums (because I REALLY want to share some useful tips of Breath of the Wild that a lot of people don't seem to realize) but there's no option to create a new thread. I am seeing threads there but the option to create new ones seems to have vanished since then. Is there something I'm missing?
Why did you have to shut down Zeldapedia? (You say "merged" but it wasn't a merge or anywhere close, just a shutdown of the superior Fandom site that has Discussion and forums and stuff that actually worked) At the very least couldn't you have started up some working forums or discussions up here? Why are you so determined that we cannot discuss Zelda games, or worse, ask for help with them? KillRoy231 (talk) 22:52, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Ok, so there's a lot to unpack here. First, for the Zelda Universe forums you'll have to contact someone on the head of the Zelda Universe team, as they will have most of the answers you're looking for. Here is the Zelda Universe Discord if you need help over there.
Second, Zeldapedia merged with us because our site here was superior to the information there (we have more policies and standards that format the wiki) and a vote was taken across the community. The head of the merge, Ceiling Master, was also the head bearucrat of Zeldapedia. Here's them responding to the same question. Again, we do not run Zelda Universe, that's a different community that we are close with. If you wish to join communities and discuss Zelda, you are free to join our Zelda Wiki Discord server. Any wiki help you need can also be answered there. I implore you to do some research on the subject you are talking about before arguing with "superior Fandom site" and "stuff that actually worked" when it's quite the opposite. Like Ceiling Master said, there's no point to have two wikis on the same platform, and Zeldapedia may eventually be moved to a different URL under an archive. Getting Notifications I don't want
