The Red Emblem is an object featured in the Stone Tower Temple from Majora's Mask.
Function
The emblem is merely an oval-shaped, red stone with a slightly golden design around it.
After Link defeats the Garo Master, it will reveal the secret of the Stone Tower Temple. By shooting a Light Arrow into the Red Emblem outside of the temple, the temple will flip upside-down and thus allow the young hero to properly explore the rest of the dungeon.[1] Two other Red Emblems can also be found in the flipped temple as part of puzzles that Link must solve.
Although the emblem is more prominent in the Stone Tower Temple, it can also be found engraved in Death Armos.[2] Shooting the Red Emblem on the Death Armos will cause for the enemy itself to flip, allowing Link to defeat it by simply making the Death Armos strike itself into the ground.
Trivia
- The Garo Master refers to the emblem as being bloodstained, a reflection on the violent history of the Ikana Kingdom and the themes of Stone Tower.
