Bana Bana is the boss of the Deku Temple in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. It is a large, multi-headed carnivorous plant, similar to Manhandla. Bana Bana is the monster who is responsible for contaminating the Life Dew found within the Great Deku Tree. As in Ocarina of Time, the Great Deku Tree is dying due to an infestation of monsters.
When Tingle arrives, the Great Deku Tree's sprout is dying, and needs the Life Dew found within the great tree itself. He ventures in to find that Bana Bana has contaminated the water, and proceeds to battle the creature. He is able to destroy it by feeding the respective color of spore to the appropriate head, three times for each of the three heads.
Trivia
- Saria's Song, which also plays as part of the Deku Temple music, is remixed into the music when fighting Bana Bana.
