This article is about the enemy from Majora's Mask. For the enemy from Spirit Tracks, see Snapper (Spirit Tracks).

A Snapper in the Woods of Mystery.

Snappers (スナッパー, Sunappaa) are the turtle-like enemies in Majora's Mask. They are also known as Bad Breaths for the sound that they make.[citation needed] To kill them, Link must transform to his Deku form and hide in a Deku Flower. When a Snapper charges at him, Link must jump out of the flower and hit its underbelly. Snappers can also be beaten by flipping them over with a punch from Goron Link, or by simply blowing them up with a bomb (or the Blast Mask).

Gekko, the miniboss in the Woodfall Temple, rides a giant Snapper. After knocking him off his Snapper, Link must shoot him with the Hero's Bow as he crawls across the ceiling.
