Biography
Yeta was apparently sick ever since they found a piece of the Mirror Shard.[1] After Link obtains the Ordon Pumpkin and the Ordon Goat Cheese for Yeto, he will put it into his soup and serve it to Yeta, who will become well enough to lead Link to the top room in the Ruins, where the Mirror Shard is located.[2] However, after she gazes into the mirror, she becomes corrupted and transforms into the dungeon's boss, Blizzeta. Upon her defeat, she is returned to normal and freed from the Mirror Shard's influence.

Theory
Some fans theorize that Yeto and Yeta found the shard of the Mirror of Twilight in Zora's Domain, and Yeta's sickness is a result of being corrupted by the shard's evil magic and becoming Blizzeta. This would also account for Zora's Domain having been frozen over, as it would have been Blizzeta's doing.
Trivia
- She appears to have green hair behind her head fur-piece.
- Yeta never shows any signs of having arms.
- It may be possible that she isn't even fully grown, explaining her size in comparison with her husband's since, after Link defeats Blizzeta, Midna refers to her as a 'girl' when saying how sad it was what she went through.
