Saria's Song was a bouncy tune taught to [[Link]] by his best friend, [[Saria]] the [[Kokiri]].  He learned Saria's Song as a symbol of friendship, and playing the song allowed him to communicate with Saria.  Other uses included playing it to cheer up [[Darunia]] when Link first met him; to become friends with the [[Skull Kid]] in the [[Lost Woods]] (who later becomes a villain in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask]]'', although this could be a different skull kid) and win a [[Piece of Heart]]; and to get [[Mido]] out of Adult Link's way on his return journey to the Lost Woods to find Saria again.
